H.O.P.E. - Help One Person Everyday

I was on Clubhouse a couple of weeks ago and jumped on an event hosted by Shanda Sumpter.  One of the ladies (so sorry, can’t remember who said it) shared an acronym she lives by daily:

H.O.P.E. - Help One Person Everyday

I love this!  Wouldn’t our world be a better place if we all did this? So, I'm taking on the challenge!

I know deep in my heart God is ready and willing to speak through us all.   And who knows - something we share may be the exact thing someone needed to hear today.

How selfish would it be for me to ignore that opportunity?  Or worse, to dismiss it as unimportant and silly.  But it could have reached someone.  It could have touched their heart.  It could have reignited the flames of hope that seemed to die out somewhere along the journey.

It's been a rough year for us all - in one area or another (if we're honest).  I'm sure we all have a story of hope or overcoming somewhere along the past 12 months.

What if we started sharing that?  What if we let people into our world enough to let them know we face challenges too.  That other people are not alone.  They are not the only ones struggling.  They are not the only ones who get frustrated, angry, mad, pissed off.  What if we went there & let those stories come out?

What if we helped one person every day?  What if we found one way every day to help someone else?  What if we asked God who we can help today & how?  What if?

I encourage you all to dig into this thought for a bit.  Give God time to answer you.  Seek Him & He will speak to us!!

I can't wait to see more of us implementing this mantra - H.O.P.E.
